The KASON METPRESS-6P automatic mold-taking and mounting machine for metallographic and petrographic specimens is used as a pre-process for sample mounting and polishing. It is ideal for mounting small, difficult-to-handle, or irregularly shaped metallographic and petrographic specimens. Mounting facilitates polishing and allows for proper microstructure observation under a metallographic microscope.

This machine automatically heats, pressurizes, maintains heat, and cools. After forming, it automatically releases pressure and removes the specimen. This machine requires only manual material addition and automatically completes the mounting and mold-taking process, reducing the need for manual mold-taking. Note: This machine is suitable only for thermosetting materials (such as Bakelite powder). The temperature is automatically controlled and regulated.
