Single Rolling Ball Tape Initial Adhesion Tester

This model is a single-ball tape initial adhesion tester that adheres to the JIS Zo237 standard. This model uses one rolling ball to assess the tape's initial tack by measuring how far the ball rolls before adhering to the tape.

To measure the initial adhesion of PSA (Pressure-Sensitive Adhesive) tapes, apply light pressure between the objects and the tape to ensure brief contact.

This initial adhesion can be evaluated using a standard test. Position the tape on a slanted panel board at a 30-degree angle and

let a steel ball roll over it. The size of the largest ball that adheres to the given length of tape determines the initial adhesion strength.
