Product applications:

Manufactured in accordance with the national standard GB/T4852-2002, it is suitable for initial tack testing of various adhesive products, such as pressure-sensitive tapes, medical patches, self-adhesive labels, protective films , etc.

Working principle:

The inclined plane rolling ball method is used to test the initial tack of a sample by observing the adhesion of the adhesive tape to the steel ball during brief contact with the adhesive surface of the pressure-sensitive tape sample under slight pressure. A steel ball is rolled over the adhesive surface of the tape placed flat on an inclined plane. The initial tack is evaluated based on the maximum size of steel ball that can be adhered to by the adhesive surface of a specified length. This instrument meets several national and international standards: GB/T 4852, JIS Z0237 .
