Instrument Overview

The KASON-CFT02 Coefficient of Friction Tester is manufactured in accordance with GB 10006-2021 and ASTM D1894, and also complies with national and international standards including GB/T 17200, GB/T 22895, ISO 8295 and TAPPI T816. It is professionally designed to measure the static and dynamic coefficients of friction of materials during sliding, such as plastic films and sheets, rubber, glass, liquid crystal screens, paper, paperboards, woven sacks, fabrics, metal composite strips, conveyor belts, wood and coatings. By measuring the slip property of materials, it can control and adjust the process indicators for material production quality to meet product application requirements. It can also perform 180° peel strength tests for materials like self-adhesives, release paper, protective films, adhesive tapes and labels by replacing clamps.

Films: For testing the static and dynamic coefficients of friction of plastic films and sheets;

Paper: For testing the static and dynamic coefficients of friction of paper and paperboards;

Textiles, non-woven fabrics & woven sacks: For testing the static and dynamic coefficients of friction of textiles, non-woven fabrics and woven sacks;

Rubber: For testing the static and dynamic coefficients of friction of rubber;

Aluminum foil, aluminum foil composite films & metal products: For testing the static and dynamic coefficients of friction of aluminum foil, aluminum foil composite films and metal products;

Printed matter: For testing the static and dynamic coefficients of friction of printed matter.

Instrument Features

Microcomputer control for fully automated test processes.

Supports a variety of standard test methods including GB 10006-2021, ISO 8295, ASTM D1894, TAPPI T816 and GB/T 2792, as well as any non-standard tests.

PVC control panel with LCD display for test results, parameters and curves.

High-precision imported sensors ensure high accuracy, excellent stability and repeatability of test results.

Allows setting of tests with sliders of arbitrary mass.

Test stroke can be arbitrarily set within 0-320mm.

Test speed can be arbitrarily set within 1-1200mm/min; return speed is adjustable from 1-500mm/min to save more test time.

The whole machine features fully digital control without any mechanical knobs.

Built-in data statistical analysis functions for maximum, minimum and average values.

Specially designed drive system for stable operation with no vibration or noise.

Real-time display of force curve during testing, with simultaneous measurement of static and dynamic coefficients of friction of samples.

Equipped with a micro printer for printing test reports of real-time or historical data.

Both the test table and sliders undergo demagnetization and residual magnetism detection, effectively reducing system test errors.

Configured with a standard RS232 serial port for computer-controlled testing via professional software.
