This instrument is suitable for conducting retorting tests on food packaging bags and related films. It is also an ideal device for aseptic packaging tests in food research institutes.The back pressure retort is designed in accordance with the requirements of GB/T 10004-1998 Retort-resistant Composite Films and Bags.

This back pressure retort is a small-sized instrument controlled by a microcomputer program. It adopts electric heating; water is directly injected into the retorting chamber and heated to produce high-pressure steam for the retorting process of test samples.

Upon completion of the test, rapid cooling is performed for 3 minutes using external compressed air and water pressure, which reduces the temperature of the contents in the chamber to 30–40℃.It is also an ideal equipment for aseptic packaging tests in food research institutions.
