The sheet former is manually operated and designed and manufactured in full accordance with standards including ISO 5269/1, TAPPI T205, SCAN C26 and PAPTAC C4. It is suitable for research and laboratory tests in papermaking and fiber wet-forming materials.
After pulping raw materials for paper, paperboard and similar materials go through cooking, beating, screening and defibering, handsheets can be formed on this instrument to prepare paper samples. It allows further testing and analysis of the physical, mechanical and optical properties of paper and paperboard.
The equipment provides standard experimental data for production, quality inspection, monitoring and new product development. Meanwhile, it serves as a standard sample-preparation device for teaching and scientific research in light chemical engineering and fiber material majors at research institutes, colleges and universities.
