Paper mills typically use it to test the ring crush strength (RCT) of paper with a thickness of 0.15–1.00 mm. Cardboard, carton, and carton users typically use it to test the edge crush strength (ECT), flat crush strength (FCT), bond strength (PAT), and flat crush strength (CMT) of corrugated board cores with a diameter less than 60 mm.
